TOUR DE FRANCE : CHRIS FROOME WINS HISTORIC 3RD TITLE !
British cycling star Chris Froome made history today when he became the first British ever to win Tour de France, 3 times. He also joins an elite group of cycling greats, only 8 at the moment, who had won the Tour at least 3 times. A record of 5 titles is up for break, after the 7 wins previously held by disgraced Lance Armstrong were stricken off the record books, following his admission to doping. Froome had won Tour de France in 2013, 2015 and now in 2016 with the Tour culminating in Paris, France, yesterday. In his victory speech, Froome paid a moving tribute to the terror attack victims in Nice, France.
