OLYMPICS : IN TRACK AND FIELD SPRINTING, WHO SAYS DIVING IS NOT ALLOWED ?
If you think diving is just for the pool, think again. You can actually win an Olympic Gold in a 400 Meter Sprint race, in a most unique fashion - by diving. Not into the pool, but into the finish line - literally. Bahama's Shaunae Miller did just that. She denied decorated US Olympian Allyson Felix her career 5th Gold by beating her into the finish line of the 400 Meter in Rio - well, yes, by diving. Controversy sparks as to it was fair to do that, or not. Experts say, yes you can do that. It is allowed. And it is fair. Or so, they say. So next time you are training sprint for the Olympics, don't forget your diving lessons, eh?Tweet
It's not textbook... but it worked!

Shaunae Miller's dive was to recover from falling. Sprinters know the quickest way across the line is a well timed lean. Trust me on that.
