F1 : LEWIS HAMILTON WINS US GRAND PRIX ; KEEPS BATTLE ALIVE VS. NICO ROSBERG FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE !

Back-to-back reigning F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton storms to a faultless start-to-finish victory at the US Grand Prix in Austin, bagging his 50th career GP win to join the elite Top 3 of most wins in the sport - ever!

Hamilton joins Racing Great Michael Schumacher (91 Grand Prix Wins) and Alain Prost (51 Grand Prix Wins) as all-time leaders in GP Wins.

Hamilton, 3-Time World Champion, also slices down the gap between him and nemesis-cum-team-mate Nico Rosberg to 26 Points in the 2016 Word Championship standings.

With his crucial win at the Circuit of the Americas, Hamilton keeps the battle alive for the Word Championship Title with only 75 Points left up for grabs in the final 3 races remaining - Mexico, Brazil then Abu Dhabi.

But 26 Points can still seem a mountain to climb for Hamilton.

Statistically, Nico Rosberg can afford to lose all 3 remaining races - just finish second in all 3 - and still win the World Title.

'All I can do is do my best,' said Hamilton.

' Nico has been driving fantastically well all season but I will keep going,' he declared.

So the battle continues.
