FOOTBALL : SANS LIONEL MESSI , ARGENTINA SUFFERS FIRST HOME DEFEAT IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER !

With its magical Captain sidelined by injury, football powerhouse Argentina tasted its first home defeat in a World Cup Qualifier in the hands of trailing Paraguay.

The upset, sealed by a fast-break goal by Derlis Gonzales in the 18th minute, stunned fans of the 2-time World Champions.

Argentina had the chance to equalize, but Sergio Aguero sorely missed a penalty.

The defeat puts Argentina in 5th place in the South American World Cup qualifying, with 16 Points - Paraguay now just 1 point behind, and Uruguay 4 points ahead in front, after ten Rounds.

With Football Legend Lionel Messi reportedly back in full training, Argentina awaits the comeback of its Captain to steer the ship back on its course to World Cup 2018.
