UFC : DANIEL CORMIER INJURED ; OUT OF UFC 206 MAIN EVENT !

UFC 206 has been thrown in limbo as Light Heavyweight Defending Champion Daniel Cormier injured himself in training forcing him to withdraw from the headline main event - barely two weeks from the fight!

UFC 206 is scheduled on December 10, 2016 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Main event was supposed to be: Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship Title.

The two UFC giants first unexpectedly met at the controversial UFC 187 in May of 2015 where then Defending Champion Jon Jones was supposed to defend his title against Anthony Johnson, but was stripped of his title due to a hit-and-run case involving a pregnant woman, disqualifying him from the scheduled fight. Jon Jones was later suspended.

As a result of Jon Jones' disqualification, Daniel Cormier took his place, and went on to defeat Anthony Johnson via 3rd Round submission, and snatched the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship belt.

Now, some 19 months later, Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson are set to collide again in a long-overdue, much-anticipated rematch.

Controversy, however, strikes again - when least expected.
