FOOTBALL : LIONEL MESSI MEETS MURTAZA AHMADI - - WHEN A LITTLE BOY FINALLY COMES FACE-TO-FACE WITH HIS FAIRY TALE IDOL !
In a dreary, faraway village of war-torn Afghanistan, the magic of football comes alive.

A six-year-old little boy -- so young and so little -- had a dream of, one day, touching his fairy-tale idol in the flesh.

His idol, the biggest legend in the sport he loves, he adored so much he wore a scanty plastic bag to mimic his legendary No.10 blue-and-white striped jersey.

Lionel Messi.

He is the biggest reason for Murtaza Ahmadi, at his young tender age, to see the light of happiness -- oblivious to the havoc and carnage his country had long endured.

The little toddler, a world of innocence away from his country's maddening plight, simply enjoys playing football wearing his makeshift Messi jersey ingeniously improvised from a plastic bag, with gleaming delight and glee.

In January, his images playing football wearing the Messi plastic bag jersey, went viral.

Almost immediately, people -- especially journalists -- went scouring for him.

And after a lengthy search, the little boy -- Murtaza Ahmadi -- was found.

In a very unlikely place, Afghanistan.

Soon after, Lionel Messi, himself, got word of the little kid.

Lionel Messi sent him real, proper jerseys - - autographed.

'I love Messi, and my shirt says Messi loves me,' said an enchanted Murtaza Ahmadi, then just five years old.

A truly magical story has begun to unfold.

Ten months on, Murtaza Ahmadi and his fairy tale hero, Lionel Messi, met for the first time in Doha, Qatar.

He also got to walk with his hero to the pitch -- hand-in-hand.

The boy, like daydreaming in a fantasy land, seemed would never let go of Lionel Messi's hands.

Indeed, a truly magical moment - - that would last forever, for sure!
