UFC star Nick Diaz @NickDiaz209 has been arrested by Las Vegas Police for allegedly strangling a woman.Tweet
Diaz is charged with two counts of domestic battery - - domestic battery by strangulation, a felony, and first-degree domestic battery.
His total bail is set at USD $18,000 and is due to appear in court within 48 hours, reports say.

FOR ALLEGED DOMESTIC BATTERY.
UFC @UFC had issued an official statement regarding the incident, saying they are aware of Nick Diaz's arrest and that the case "will be duly reviewed and thoroughly investigated by an independent party".
In the statement, UFC reiterated they "do not tolerate domestic violence and require all athletes to adhere to the UFC Fighter Conduct Policy".
Nick Diaz, 34, last fought in the UFC in 2015 against Anderson Silva at UFC 183.
He was suspended by USADA for 1 year in 2017 due to "whereabouts" violation of the UFC's Anti-Doping Policy, and was reinstated only last month.
