FOUR YEARS LATER, MARIEKE VERVOORT, FURTHER WENT ON TO WIN ANOTHER SILVER MEDAL AT THE 2016 RIO PARALYMPIC GAMES.
BUT, SOME MORE YEARS LATER AFTER THAT, MARIEKE VERVOORT, HAD FINALLY DECIDED SHE HAS HAD A LITTLE BIT TOO MUCH.
THE PAIN IS TOO MUCH, SHE WOULDN'T HEAR STEPHEN HAWKING'S WORDS NO MORE.
SHE CHOSE TO END HER LIFE BY EUTHANASIA, IN HER NATIVE BELGIUM TODAY.
MARIEKE VERVOORT WAS 40.
