STEPHEN HAWKING - - THE GENIUS THAT INSPIRED PARALYMPIANS (AND THE WORLD) - - HAS DIED !
The Greatest "Paralympian" - - a genius mind that has boldly challenged human boundaries to unearth the mysteries of the universe, as we know it - - has died.

Stephen Hawking, who once said before thousands of Paralympians, that human "creativity can take many forms, from physical achievement to theoretical physics", - - perhaps a rather more practical and simplistic demonstration of his very complex and enigmatic thinking in theoretical physics and in the wild universe of quantum mechanics - - had passed away in his home in Cambridge, England.

He was 76.

Hawking was confined in his wheelchair almost his entire adult life, gradually losing his ability to speak, but never did he let his human mind imprisoned by physical barriers of any sort, his scientific works transcended conventional wisdom, and beyond.

He was known for speaking thru a computer voice, the voice so distinct, it became as iconic, if not more than his public persona.

"However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at", Hawking also once said.

World-renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, speaking at the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
"We are all different. There is no such thing as a standard or run of the mill human being."

Rest in peace Stephen, thank you for being a pioneer of the human spirit. You will be greatly missed.
