TENNIS : RAFAEL NADAL TAKEN OUT IN 4TH ROUND ! - - US OPEN'S BIGGEST SHOCKER, YET !

Rafael Nadal is taken out in the 4th Round of the US Open - the biggest casualty at the US Grand Slam, yet.

His slayer?

A virtual unknown French player who just had the biggest win of his life.

His name, Lucas Pouille.

Pouille celebrated like nuts, after beating Nadal in a 5-Set sensational thriller.

It took more than 4 grueling hours and 4 match points, before the 22-year-old Frenchman, ranked No. 25 in the world, had finally crushed Nadal down.

"I fought to the end, today", Nadal said, who appeared to be in sync after breaking early in the 5th Set.

Until the unthinkable.

A time violation called on Nadal may have had some kind of effect on the Spanish Bull.

Pouille quickly capitalized and recovered, took the 5th Set to a breath-stopping Tie Break - and won the match! (6-1, 2-6, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6).

"I couldn't dream better than this!", declared Pouille, ecstatic about his unbelievable win.

But Pouille has another good reason to be on cloud 9. Three Frenchmen are in the Quarter Finals!

Lucas Pouille, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and Gael Monfils.

A historic first.

Nadal, 14-time Grand Slam Champion, has had another giant slayer named Lucas.

It was Lucas Rosol who handed him a shock 2nd Round defeat at Wimbledon in 2012.

Nadal's last Grand Slam win was at the French Open in 2014.

Will he ever win another Grand Slam Title again?
