TENNIS : US OPEN - - IS RAFAEL NADAL STILL IN THE 'BIG 4' ?
Can King Of Clay Rafael Nadal add another US Open Title under his name and prove to all and sundry that he still is among the 'The Big 4'? Nadal had been bugged by injury, his last Grand Slam win was in 2014. His last US Open trophy, in 2013. With Tennis Legend Roger Federer now seems to be slowed by time, the 'Big 4' in world tennis - Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray - that had dominated the sport for a long time, seem to be now scattered wide open in pieces. Djokovic and Murray though could still be slugging out at the top. Nadal, now ranked No. 5 in the world, cruises through the first round of the 2016 US Open by defeating Denis Istomin, ranked No. 107, with an impressive 3-straight-set win (6-1, 6-4, 6-2). And through the second round by defeating Andreas Seppi, ranked No. 87, with an equally impressive 3-straight-set win (6-0, 7-5, 6-1). Nadal, now with 14 Grand Slam Titles, and Djokovic, the US Open defending champion, closely behind him at 12 Grand Slam Titles, will look to stop the 'The Joker' on his tracks of overtaking him. Whereas, Andy Murray, Juan Martin del Potro, Stan Wawrinka and Marin Cilic may be closely watching within striking distance. Did somebody say 'Nick Kyrgios'? Aw, forget about it. Mate.Tweet
