FOOTBALL : LIONEL MESSI GOES BALLISTIC AS VALENCIA FANS THROW WATER BOTTLES AT BARCELONA PLAYERS !
Football Legend Lionel Messi went ballistic as sour fans of Valencia threw water bottles at celebrating Barcelona players after the Argentine star scored a winner downing the Bats.Tweet
Barcelona's breath-stopping victory over Valencia, 3-2, was nearly overshadowed by the ruckus and a nasty knee injury on Andrés Iniesta who was taken on a stretcher earlier in the game.
Andrés Iniesta is likely to miss 6 to 8 weeks of action due to this injury.
Barcelona's win brings them on top of the La Liga standings.
Lionel Messi, who scored his winner from the penalty spot in the dying minute, went on with his tirade, cursing the Valencia fans who rained his teammates with objects from the stand, as they celebrated.
Messi has to be pulled away by his teammates momentarily but went on with his own verbal blast.
Lionel Messi recently sidelined for a groin injury, has come back blazing since returning into action - scoring against Deportivo, a hat-trick against Manchester City, and now a brace against Valencia.
He has scored an amazing 12 goals in his 6 games.
Can anyone - or anything - stop this atomic man?
A water bottle to the head, certainly won't do the job.
At all.
