FOOTBALL : LIONEL MESSI SET FOR COMEBACK !
Football Legend Lionel Messi is now all set for a comeback, after weeks of being sidelined for a groin injury.Tweet
Messi is to see action Saturday when FC Barcelona faces Deportivo La Coruna, FC Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique has confirmed.
Though the Argentinian superstar is to be assessed in the morning on the day of the match to be certain if it is best for him to play.
Messi has been cast aside temporarily since being injured in September during a clash with Atletico Madrid.
His absence on the field sorely felt not only by fans but his team mates, as well.
Gerard Pique, Barcelona defender, aptly said "The day Messi leaves will be like the day when your father dies and you realize, you have to fly alone".
Messi has resumed training this week.
Messi's comeback into action perfectly marks his 12 years anniversary with FC Barcelona.
It was October 16 of 2004 when a young 17-year-old Messi, made his momentous debut with Barcelona.
Little did the world know, that this young boy, would go on to become the greatest football player, the world has ever known.
