UFC : MICHAEL BISPING WINS REVENGE MATCH OVER DAN HENDERSON !
Michael Bisping has taken his sweet revenge against Dan Henderson, not in a fashion as spectacular as he was brutally knocked-out cold by Hendo some 6 years ago, but as sweet and epic, nonetheless.Tweet
Bisping narrowly survived two scary knockdowns early in the fight - first and second Rounds- his fans clinging at the edge of their seats, horrified "The Count" would suffer the same savage loss he had at UFC 100 back in 2009.
Miraculously, Bisping weathered the deadly onslaught by Henderson, went on to connect sustained decisive shots and retained his UFC Middleweight World Title.
Bisping emerged victorious with a unanimous win, 48-47, 48-47, 49-46.
Bloodied and wounded, Bisping paid tribute to his nemesis Dan Henderson, who has now had his final curtain call in the Octagon.
"Give it up for Dan Henderson. This guy is incredible. At his age, he just kicked my ass. All the trash talking, you got to respect, the guy's a legend," Bisping said after the fight.
Henderson, a future UFC Hall of Famer, is now 46 years old.
Bisping, with his impressive victory, now has the most number of wins in UFC history.
The Englishman has 20 Wins, 7 Losses for his UFC Record, while 30 Wins and 7 Losses for his MMA Record.
Now, who's next for Bisping?
Chris Weidman, we all say?
