Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez may have felt just like that, with the long arm of the taxman flexing hundreds of miles from afar.
Spanish authorities have seized The Chilean Wonder Boy's house in Barcelona,in connection with his alleged tax evasion cases.
The alleged tax evasion dates back to 2011, 2012 and 2013 during Alexis Sanchez's time with Barcelona.
Spanish authorities had alleged Alexis Sanchez owed the government some EUR €3.7 Million -- roughly USD $3.85 Million -- in unpaid taxes, prompting the seizure of his Barcelona property.
Investigations into the alleged questionable taxes of Alexis Sanchez are ongoing, with the authorities claiming he used an overseas 'shell company' to avoid paying taxes.
'Shell companies' or 'shell corporations' are dummy companies usually used to disguise business ownership, for financial maneuvers, or even for tax fraud, or for tax evasion purposes.
Alexis Sanchez made history in 2011 when he was signed by Barcelona for GBP £25 Million - - becoming the most expensive transfer in the history of Chilean football.
