African Football star Cheick Tiote has died.Tweet
The Ivory Coast midfielder had collapsed while in training in China, apparently due to cardiac arrest and was later pronounced dead.
He was just 30.
Cheick Tiote played for Newcastle United before moving to China to play for Beijing Enterprises.
In 2015, Cheick Tiote led the Ivory Coast National team to win the Africa Cup of Nations.
Perhaps, Cheick Tiote is best remembered for his spectacular goal against Arsenal in 2011 to force a 4-0 come-from-behind draw with Newcastle United.
Tributes from the football world poured in for the young Ivorian, taken so early.
