TENNIS : RAFAEL NADAL - - HISTORY !

History is made in Paris, today.

Rafael Nadal has just blown the record books into pieces.

The undisputed King Of Clay broke his own world record and won an unprecedented 10th French Open crown - - an incredible feat, the tennis world believes it may never happen, again.

Rafael Nadal is the first and only human being to achieve this.

To win just one French Open is so difficult, there are legends of the sport who didn't win any - - or just managed to nick one in their entire career. So to win ten French Open Titles is just an absolute mindblower.

Rafael Nadal's great triumph transcends the boundaries of tennis. Many believe, it may be the greatest achievement in all sports.

Rafael Nadal did not only grab his 10th French Open crown, he did it with utter supremacy. He won the Tournament without losing a single Set to anybody, all throughout. And, in the Finals, he routed World No. 4 Stan Wawrinka in straight Sets, 6-2; 6-3; 6-1.

The battle lasted just 2 hours, and 7 minutes.

Well, it wasn't a battle - - actually.

The Championship Finals that promised itself to be a potential epic thriller turned out to be a lopsided affair. Stan Wawrinka, 2015 French Open Champion, was no match for the raging Spanish Bull.

Rafael Nadal destroyed Wawrinka with his ruthless forehands and backhands, with impunity. Wawrinka's early chance to break in the First Set, quickly denied, and was never again given the chance to breathe till the end.

"Iconic", said the ATP @TennisTV following Nadal's historic win.

Blazing on the clay court in his best form yet since his comeback from a 2-year lull, can Rafael Nadal return next year and keep on breaking his own new record?

Only him, can surpass his own greatness.

"The author of his own legend", as the French Open @RolandGarros aptly puts it.
