TENNIS : RAFAEL NADAL THRASHES JUAN MARTIN DEL PORTO AT US OPEN SEMIS ; SETS EYES ON 16TH GRAND SLAM TITLE !

The undisputed 'King Of Clay' would like to add more conquest to his dominion, and extend his clay rule to the acrylic hard courts.

Rafael Nadal, 2-Time US Open Champion, has routed Juan Martin Del Potro at the US Open Semi-Finals, to set-up a shot at a 16th Grand Slam crown.

Nadal - - a notorious slow starter - - lost the Fist Set, but immediately came back swinging, and trashed Del Potro without mercy in the next 3 Sets.

The Argentine didn't stand a chance to survive Nadal's ferocity, 6-4; 0-6; 3-6; 2-6.

Rafael Nadal will now face Kevin Anderson of South Africa - - a first timer on the Grand Slam Finals arena - - to decide who brings home the trophy between the two.

With Nadal's eyes seemingly now steady set on a sweet and pretty 16th Grand Slam title, is he really thinking of breaking Roger Federer's historic 19?
