BOXING : MIKE TYSON DEPORTED FROM CHILE !
Mike Tyson got KO'd in Chile, headlines TMZ Sports.Tweet
Aptly, indeed.
The iconic Boxing Legend was denied entry into Chile then deported by Chilean authorities for "failing to meet requirements by immigration laws".
Mike Tyson, now 51, reportedly was in Chile after being invited by a TV network for a promotional event.
Hall of Famer Mike Tyson - - one the greatest boxers of all time - - was convicted in 1992 for raping 18-year old Desiree Washington, a local beauty queen and a contestant for Miss Black America.
Tyson was 26 years old at the time.
Tyson also has criminal convictions for assault and cocaine possession.
Chilean authorities didn't like Mike Tyson's unpretty criminal record, they barred him from entering the country.
Mike Tyson @MikeTyson, the youngest ever in history to become World Heavyweight Champion at age 20, was also the first heavyweight boxer to hold the WBA, WBC and IBF crowns - - all simultaneously.
He was the most feared and most dominant fighter of his era.
In 1997, Tyson infamously bit off the ear of Evander Holyfield @Holyfield during their rematch, making the incident one of the weirdest and most bizarre moments in all sports.
A small part of Holyfield's ear, fell to the canvas.
Tyson later said he did it in retaliation to Holyfield's headbutts.
Mike Tyson lost his boxing license as a result of the ear-biting saga, but was later reinstated.
He retired from boxing in 2006.
