TENNIS : ROGER FEDERER STUNNED BY BELGIUM'S DAVID GOFFIN AT ATP WORLD TOUR FINALS !
David beats Goliath, says ATP Tennis TV.

Well, Roger is absolutely the Goliath of tennis - - just not quite the bad guy, of course.

The good guy, certainly.

Tennis Legend Roger Federer has been dismissed by Belgium's David Goffin, at the Nitto ATP World Tour Finals in London - - the biggest shock at the season-ending Championships, perhaps after Rafael Nadal's early exit in the First Round.

Roger Federer @RogerFederer and Rafael Nadal @RafaelNadal both fell to the same conquering hands - - that of David Goffin @David_Goffin .

"I'm very happy for him", said Federer following his defeat to Goffin who was over the moon to beat his own idol.

"I have no words. I cannot describe how I'm feeling. . . ", declared an ecstatic Goffin, currently World No.8 and Belgium's top gun.

It was Goffin's first ever win against Federer, and his first appearance on the ATP World Tour Finals.

ATP World Tour Finals is a Round-Robin tournament - - except for the knock-out Semi Finals and Finals - - showcasing the Top 8 Players in the World.

It is the second highest tier of tennis, after the Grand Slams.
