TENNIS : ROGER FEDERER, BELINDA BENCIC TAKE HOPMAN CUP FOR SWITZERLAND !

Roger federer @RogerFederer, The Greatest, walked down the memory lane as he rekindles the moment he first won the Hopman Cup @HopmanCup, some 17 years ago.

It was then with the 20-year-old Tennis Sensation Martina Hingis @MHingis when Roger Federer - - also then about to be 20-year-old - - hoisted the Hopman Cup trophy for the very first time.

Fast forward 17 years, Roger Federer, now 36 (soon to be 37), raised the Hopman Cup trophy, once again.

This time, with another 20-year-old - - Belinda Bencic @BelindaBencic - - along his side.

It is Switzerland's third Hopman Cup victory, winning it in 1992, 2001 and now, 2018.

Inasmuch as historic, it was nostalgic for Roger Federer.

"After all these years, I can't believe I'm here again", declared Federer in opening his victory speech.
