Adam Lallana looked towards the positives after his late goal on Sunday earned Liverpool a draw against Manchester United. Asked what his instructions were from the manager, Lallana told Sky Sports: "Just to make an impact, there were 25 minutes left. We probably weren't at our best today but sometimes you have to look to the bench and you have to come on and change the game. I thought Ox did extremely well when he came on. If we're going to win the league and we're going to compete to take the title then we're not just going to need 11, we're going to need a squad. I think it is a point gained, we weren't at our best. People were saying it's probably going to be an easy three points for us, it shows it's never the case. Form goes out of the window in this type of game. Especially when I came on, it felt that after 10 minutes we kind of controlled the game. Towards the end, I thought we were the only team that was going to get three points." "It's huge. We've come to Old Trafford and got a point. We'd have probably taken that at the beginning of the season," the No.20 continued. "We're still unbeaten this season, so huge positives considering we didn't play our best. We learn, we move on and we've got Genk in midweek now and then Spurs at Anfield on the weekend." #LFC #YNWA #Lallana #AdamLallana #Livepool #LiverpoolFC #WeAreLiverpool #LFCFamily #LFCNews #Anfield #TheReds #PremierLeague #TheRedPost #MUNLIV

Jurgen Klopp has claimed that Liverpool "stopped themselves" from equalling an 18-game winning run after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Manchester United on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp has claimed that Liverpool "stopped themselves" from equalling an 18-game winning run after they were held to a 1-1 draw at Manchester United on Sunday. "Today we had a big say in that – we stopped ourselves! But of course United defended really well and then had the speed with Daniel James and Marcus Rashford. They chip the ball in behind and then the race is on! That’s not cool. We defended that OK, but we should have played much better football. That’s what we expect of ourselves. That's no criticism or judgement of United, it’s just about ourselves. It doesn’t frustrate me. I’m not the person who should be concerned about this style [from United]. It’s just a fact that when we come here, they just defend. It’s OK, no criticism, it’s just a fact. When United play Liverpool, usually you’d think both teams would play like this, would try. We are the one team everyone is on their toes when United play us. With the quality they have, the way they set up is really difficult. It’s no excuse. I thought we could do better today. But you cannot play each team like this." #LFC #YNWA #Klopp #JurgenKlopp #Livepool #LiverpoolFC #WeAreLiverpool #LFCFamily #LFCNews #Anfield #TheReds #PremierLeague #TheRedPost #MUNLIV
