FOOTBALL : SEPP BLATTER ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT BY WOMEN'S FOOTBALL STAR HOPE SOLO !

As if the corruption scandal that rocked the whole world of football was not enough - - with him at the very center - - disgraced former FIFA President Sepp Blatter has yet another scandal at his door.

This time, a sexual scandal.

Former US star goalkeeper Hope Solo has accused Blatter, now 81, of groping her buttocks shortly before they went onstage together to present a major award at the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2013.

Hope Solo @HopeSolo, 36, was a celebrity goalkeeper of the US Soccer Team, having won the Olympics twice, and the World Cup, once.

Sepp Blatter @SeppBlatter, once considered as the most powerful man in sports, served as President of FIFA for 17 years, from 1998 until his ouster in 2015.

He was the 3rd longest serving President of FIFA in its 113-year history.

Blatter saw FIFA - - the world's governing body of football - - plunged into turmoil in 2015 as dozens of major FIFA officials and public figures were either arrested or indicted for corruption and financial mismanagement charges.

It was one of the biggest and ugliest corruption scandals in all sports.

At one point, Blatter was showered with money all over his head by an actor - activist in front of the world press at a FIFA Press Conference in July 2015, in an astonishing attack and mockery on his integrity, muddled by greed.

Sepp Blatter was later ejected from office in 2015, after he seemed to play around with his supposed announced resignation.

He is now banned by FIFA from any FIFA activities, for at least six years.
