UFC : CONOR MCGREGOR VS. EDDIE ALVAREZ - - WEIGH - IN !

UFC Sensation Conor McGregor sets aim to add more history to UFC 205 - become the first-ever champion to wear Championship Belts in two different weight divisions - at the same time !

UFC 205, already a milestone in the sport, it being the first UFC event ever hosted in New York City after a 20-year ban on the sport was lifted only earlier this year.

The enigmatic Irishman Conor McGregor, the current UFC Featherweight Champion, will take on Eddie Alvarez, the current UFC Lightweight Champion - for the UFC Lightweight Title.

The mega event will feature 3 Championship Fights and powerhouse main cards:

Eddie Alvarez (28-4) v Conor McGregor (20-3) — Lightweight Championship

Tyron Woodley (16-3) vs Stephen Thompson (13-1) — Welterweight Championship

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (12-0) v. Karolina Kowalkiewicz (10-0) — Strawweight Championship

Chris Weidman (13-1) v Yoel Romero (12-1) — Middleweight

Miesha Tate (18-6) v Raquel Pennington (8-5) — Bantamweight

Conor McGregor, notorious for his antics on and off the Octagon, is now the highest-earning star of the UFC.

His last fight, a rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202, is said to be the biggest-grossing event in UFC history, breaking all previous records.

While his first encounter with Nate Diaz at UFC 196 is the second biggest-grossing in the UFC.

BOXING : MANNY PACQUIAO RETAKES WBO WELTERWEIGHT CROWN AS FLOYD MAYWEATHER WATCHES RINGSIDE !

Boxing Legend Manny Pacquiao retakes the WBO Welterweight crown in his spectacular comeback to the ring as his arch-enemy Floyd Mayweather watches in cheeky amusement - ringside!

'Not bad,' says Floyd Mayweather airily, after the match.

Manny Pacquiao, who made history as the first-ever elected Senator to win a World Title, later said he invited Mayweather to watch his fight. Mayweather turned up, with his daughter.

Pacquiao handily dismissed Jessie Vargas in their WBO Welterweight duel via lopsided unanimous decision, 118-109; 118-109; 114-113.

Though the last score was questionably close, all other unofficial scoring showed Pacquiao winning by a wide margin.

Vargas, ten years younger than his opponent, said he was surprised by Pacquiao's speed despite his age.

Pacquiao is now 37 years old, and will turn 38 next month.

With Floyd Mayweather's odd, surprise appearance ringside at a Pacquiao fight, the rumor mill is inevitable.

Will there be a Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2 ?

That is a $400 Million Dollar question, pundits would love very much to answer.
