UFC 217 : MICHAEL BISPING VS. GEORGES ST-PIERRE STAREDOWN !

Reigning UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping will square off against the returning Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 on 04 November 2017 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Ahead of their much-anticipated classic encounter, the fellow future Hall Of Famers had a staredown in Toronto.

UFC 217 will be Georges St-Pierre's first comeback to the Octagon since retiring from the sport in 2013.

TENNIS : RAFAEL NADAL SUES FRANCE'S FORMER SPORT MINISTER FOR ACCUSING HIM OF DOPING; DEMANDS EUR100,000 IN DAMAGES!

Rafael Nadal has filed a lawsuit against former Sport Minister of France Roselyne Bachelot for her public comments made on French TV last year accusing him of doping.

Nadal has sought EUR 100,000 in damages before the French courts.

The case was originally filed in April last year prior to the French Open 2016, but has dragged on apparently due to mounting court backlogs.

The case stemmed from Bachelot's statements to the media in March 2016 alleging Nadal took time off from tennis in 2012, not because of an injury as reported, but due to doping as he allegedly tested positive in a drug test (sic), she claimed.

Rafael Nadal later withdrew from the following French Open in 2016 due to wrist injury, and despite the nasty dig, he later came back to Paris in 2017 winning his historic 10th French Open Title in June of this year.

Roselyne Bachelot is a high-profile, high-ranking politician in France who was Minister of Sports (2007–2010); Minister of Environment (2002–2004); Minister of Social Affiars (2010–2012); and a long-time member of France's National Assembly (Parliament of France) having been elected for the first time in 1988.

The trial now starts, and a verdict is expected mid-November this year.
