F1 : FERRARI THREATENS TO LEAVE FORMULA ONE AFTER 70 YEARS !

F1 : FERRARI THREATENS TO LEAVE FORMULA ONE AFTER 70 YEARS !
Formula One could lose one of its founding pillars, Ferrari.

Ferrari big boss Sergio Marchionne has issued a statement, they would leave Formula One over core disagreements on new F1 engine regulations.

Formula One wants cheaper and louder engines from manufacturers.

Ferrari disagreed, among others.

"If we change the sandbox to the point where it becomes an unrecognizable sandbox, I don't want to play anymore", said Marchionne.

Ferrari's contract with Formula One ends in 2020.

Ferrari has competed in Formula One since its inception in 1950. They are the most successful Racing Team in the history of the sport.

In fact, F1 is literally synonymous to Ferrari.

It is hard to imagine, a Formula One without Ferrari.

But Liberty Media, the new owner of Formula 1, wants to take F1 to a new direction.

Ferrari thinks, it's the wrong the direction.

Liberty Media took control of Formula One - - the world's most iconic motorsport giant - - in an USD $8 Billion Dollar takeover in September of 2016.

FOOTBALL : PATRICE EVRA SUSPENDED BY MARSEILLE AFTER KICKING A FAN IN THE HEAD !

FOOTBALL : PATRICE EVRA SUSPENDED BY MARSEILLE AFTER KICKING A FAN IN THE HEAD !
Former Manchester United and French National Captain Patrice Evra will pay a very heavy price - - for kicking a fan in the face.

His career may now be over.

Just for one kick - - no, not a kick on the ball, but a kick on their own fan's face.

The Marseille defender was apparently angered by the fan's verbal rant, and retaliated with a karate kick.

Patrice Evra and his Marseille teammates were warming up before a match against Vitoria Guimares in Portugal for a Europa League clash Thursday, when the fight with a group of fans occurred.

Evra was sent-off by the referee, pre-match - - a first in Europa League's history.

Marseille issued an official statement, confirming Patrice Evra's suspension following their initial internal investigation on the incident.

Evra could still face further disciplinary actions for his violent behaviour, the statement said.

Jacques-Henri Eyraud, President of Olympique de Marseille, met Patrice Evra today and informed him of his layoff with immediate effect and his summons to an interview prior to a possible disciplinary sanction.

In addition, the first results of the internal investigation conducted by the club reveal an unacceptable behavior on the part of a handful of provocateurs who uttered particularly serious hate speech against the player, while he and his teammates were warming up for an important game.

As a professional and experienced player, Patrice Evra could not respond in such an inappropriate way.

The club continues its investigation and will use all the legal means at its disposal against individuals who, under cover of their passion for OM, endanger their reputation by entering the field and insulting a player instead of supporting him.- - Official Statement by OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLE @OM_Officiel
