The world's greatest Olympian has now had a curtain call, with an unimaginable 23 Olympic Gold Medals under his name, shattering thousands of years of Olympic record, dating as far back as hundreds of years Before Christ! Michael Phelps won his 23rd Olympic Gold Medal - a feat never had been achieved by any man before - in the Men's 4x100 Meter Medley Relay in Rio. This, was Phelps' last swim. At least for now, as we know. Phelps announced his supposed retirement from swimming, after the 2012 London Olympics. But only to come back to compete at the Rio Games. Similarly, he also has announced that he is retiring after Rio and will no longer compete in Tokyo in 2020. At 35 years old by then, who knows?Tweet
