Puerto Rico delivers a major upset in world tennis, as it defeated Germany at the Rio Olympics' Women's Tennis Singles Final, and grabbed its first Olympic Gold - ever. Unseeded Monica Puig of Puerto Rico celebrated in tears as she beats World No. 2 Angelique Kerber of Germany in 3 thrilling sets. Puerto had won Silver in Boxing at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and also Silver in Wrestling at the 2012 London Olympics and a number of Bronze since 1948 but this is the country's first Olympic Gold Medal, in history.Tweet
